Course Description: This training is intended for anyone who is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the Konecranes Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Covers brands such as the Konecranes Dynac and Dynahoist, P&H Smartorque, and Drivecon XS and XT series drives. This course will teach the fundamentals of maintaining, programming, and troubleshooting these advanced VFD’s.

  • Fault and warning history diagnosis
  • Fault time data record logging and interpreting
  • Programing both open and closed loop control
  • Preventative maintenance procedures
  • Troubleshooting using monitoring values from parameters
  • VFD component specification and sizing
  • Keypad functionality
  • Wiring a replacement or new VFD
  • Type code identification and analysis
  • Programming ramp speeds and other drive related features
