| Course Description: | This training is specifically for maintenance personnel servicing cranes with static stepless components. The course will cover basic principals of the electrical systems involved, troubleshooting and function testing, set up and adjustment procedures, control modules, and safety measures. This will include classroom training and laboratory exercises.
Static Stepless is a solid state, control system for overhead cranes that utilizes proprietary technology to control the secondary windings of a Wound Rotor Motor to achieve speed control. The course focuses on information that would be important for crane maintenance personal and will cover items such as but not limited to: set-up, module troubleshooting, component replacement, Print reading . This 3 day course includes some classroom based lab exercises to reinforce the lesson plan, and there is an optional 4th day of hands on that can be purchased. |
